Seventeen months after stepping down from the presidency, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was served an arrest warrant for alleged electoral sabotage last Friday evening, November 18. The arresting officers headed by Senior Superintendent James Bucayu had no choice but arrest and treat her like any other accused individuals. But still, she denies any wrongdoing and it seems that she is innocent of all the charges filed against her. And her lawyer, Ferdinand Topacio, said that the government had filed fabricated charges against the former president.

Let us wait and see… The Department of Justice is still investigating the other complaints.
