Why is it easier for people to blame others for their mistake than to admit that they made it?
It really hurts when you are blamed for something that wasn't your fault, or for something you didn't do, but it is a part of human nature to pass the blame... and worst, no-one likes admitting that they are the ones who messed up.
Whew! I carry the blame for a lot of things that have not been fault, and I carry the burden of the consequences for actions outside of my control that were never mine to carry. It makes me feel bad to hear that my superior is barking at the wrong tree. In fact, it provoke me to do something against the person/s depending on what they have done to me such as making me feel irritated intentionally, gossiping about me, giving me a 'sarcastic code name', etc. It used to really piss me off but I am very thankful because I know how to hold my temper. Nothing I can say but I don't want to stoop down to their level!

And I believe that if people really knew you, they wouldn't believe it to be your fault in the first place.
